Abess Park Elementary School hosted its Fall Festival. There was carnival games, face painting, a balloon artist, a Frisbee Dog Team, a dancing group, Sparky the Fire Robot Dog, a bouncy house, bumper cars, 3-D golf and a dunk tank where Kids could dunk the teachers. Fun was had by all that came.

Roller Girls, Reservoir Quads

Jacksonville Roller Girls present a flat track derby event, Reservoir Quads. The River City Rat Pack vs. The Beach Brawl Derby Dolls at the Mandarin Skate Station 3461 Kori Road.
In an emotional game, Creekside was able to hang on to a game-long lead and gain a victory over Mandarin, 24-21. This Duval-St. Johns county clash was well attended by fans of both teams and is likely to become a cross county rivalry.
Jim Breuer and friends came to the Comdey Zone for the weekend. Local comedian Mike Houser emceed the night. Johnny Millwater brought laughter through the crowd. The headliner Jim Breuer kept folks entertained and rolling in the aisles.
