Jacksonville Bank Marathon Mega-Gallery
32 albums
The Jacksonville Bank Marathon and Half Marathon runs (that's 26.2 miles and 13.1 miles) went off without a hitch to a day of overcast for a while then some sunny heat, but nearly 3000 runners took the annual pilgrimage. Community Photographer Randy Lefko was camped out at the two mile mark going out near the Hooters on San Jose. Check out pics from the start and from that point en route to finish (about 10 miles for half marathon and 23 miles for full marathon).
Due to injuries and the Bolles football team's state championship run, a scheduled wrestling match between the Bulldogs and host Bartram Trail High wound up a shorten match over in less than an hour.
